GBC-PR green LogoTo generate energy from non-fossil sources becomes more and more important not only for our planet in general, but for the survival of our complete civilization in particular.

Global warming, the melting of the ice caps at the poles, the hole in the ozone layer -our shield against high energy UV radiation-, the change of the climate together with changes in the local temperatures, stronger storms, possibilities of diverted sea currents like the gulf stream creating Siberian temperatures in all Europe and more of such disastrous consequences are shown in the scenarios of the scientists.

Independent from the fact, that nobody can really say if all these changes are a direct result of our pollution of the atmosphere or if they are mainly normal fluctuations in the planet’s life cycle, it is our obligation and our opportunity to at least reduce our part of the possible causes of all these effects as much as we can.

What is more, we are actually burning the resources of our future: crude oil, gas and coal  are not only usable as fuels, but form the basis of most of our chemical industry. Without that basis many materials common to us today would not be available anymore, or at least reproducible only at extraordinary costs.

We owe to our children and the following generations, who might have a harder life because of our thoughtless use of resources, to do our best to avoid unnecessary wastefulness and pollution.

There is no patent remedy for all these challenges together. Nowadays technologies allow us to replace parts of the environmental destructive ways of generating the needed energy by less harmful means. Hopefully future technologies, today still sounding like science fiction, will give us the possibilities at hand to completely stop our civilization's contribution to the destruction of the environment which we all need for a decent and comfortable life.

Such visions are not possible yet, but we have to start working on the problem step by step.

In chaotic systems like our atmosphere there is something commonly known as "the butterfly effect": the movement of a butterfly's wing in China might cause a hurricane in Florida. In other words: if you catch that butterfly before it moves its wing, you avoid a hurricane! We at GBC-PR therefore try to implement developments from various countries having the potential to fulfill the existing needs and requirements in the energy sector with a smaller environmental footprint than conventional methods.

No project is too small, no effort is too little, to contribute to the avoidance some of these tiny causes and so help to stabilize the global climate.

On the following pages we compiled some information about such technologies, collected in Wikipedia, to give you some background of these possibilities. We and our partners do have the means, the technologies and the experience to help you to contribute to this vision of a cleaner and livable future without abandoning your needs and wishes in respect to energy.
